  • Teachers' willingness to be surrounded by students and answer tons of questions after each class
  • Very challenging short coursework that must have been completed within 24 hours
  • Rhossili Bay

How did your degree prepare you for your career?

It gave me core knowledge about English shipping law, ability to work under pressure and developed my legal writing skills.

What advice would you give to those who want to pursue your career?

It is the right decision to come to UK to study international shipping law, as it is heavily based on English shipping law. Swansea University is a very good place to learn it.
If you want to be a hard-core shipping lawyer in the future, you are advised to learn more about ships, their structure, history, and technical knowledge. It would be great if you found some captain friends to tell you about their sea adventures too!

Would you recommend Swansea University to others?

Yes, especially to those who want to learn English maritime law.
