Wales’ first International Suicide and Self-Harm Symposium

All welcome to attend the very first of its kind in Wales; a day symposium for care providers focusing on the issues of suicide and self-harm, taking place on the 22 September 2017 organised by the Swansea University Paramedic Sciences Team and the College of Paramedics.

About the event:

This day has been created to help priority care providers (those who respond to people in crisis) prevent suicide and self-harm, treat those who have attempted suicide and self-harm and care for those who have been affected by these issues.

Expert guests include Professor Ella Arensman (President of the International Association for Suicide Prevention),  Professor Dr. Ann John - Welsh National lead for suicide and many other experts who will provide guest talks and take questions from the audience.
