Dr Ashley Frawley, Senior Lecturer at the College of Human and Health Sciences, has recently written an article for the International Business Times.
Ashley Frawley is Senior Lecturer in Sociology and Social Policy at Swansea University. Her research explores the rising importance attributed to emotions and behaviour in contemporary constructions of social problems.
She is the author of The Semiotics of Happiness: Rhetorical beginnings of a public problem published by Bloomsbury Academic in 2015 and is currently working on a new book exploring the rise of emotional language in public debate.
