Innovation Nurse of the Year teaches on two new modules

Two new modules at the College of Human and Health Sciences, are being taught by an award winning nurse.

The Enhanced Practice for Upper and/or Lower Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Nurses (level 3) and Advanced Practice for Upper and/or Lower Gastrointestinal Endoscopist (Master’s level) modules will be taught by Phedra Dodds, who was last week named Innovation Nurse of the Year at the Royal College of Nursing Awards held in Cardiff.

Phedra, an advanced nurse practitioner, is also currently studying for a Doctorate in Professional Practice from the University’s College of Human and Health Sciences. She will teach the module alongside Wendy Pugh - Specialist Screening Practitioner, Nurse Endoscopist and GRS Lead Nurse for North Wales
