A group of Chinese nursing students have experienced the famous Welsh culture and hospitality while learning about Human and Health Sciences this summer.
Staff at Swansea University's College of Human and Health Sciences guided LeYan Meng and Meng Ying Zhang from Tongji Medical College and Yingli Zhang and Hao Yin Zang from Guangzhou University of Chinese Medicine through an academic programme which included learning about the UK's National Health Service, manual handling techniques and an introduction to Osteopathy. Colleague's from the University's English Language Training Services (ELTS) also provided English lessons.
As part of their trip, the group also toured the wider University, visited Singleton Hospital and got to take in some of South Wales', with trips to Tenby, Cardiff, the Gower Peninsula, Big Pit and St Fagans.
