The series of free remote open days will be held online between September 19 and October 3 to help students, teachers, careers advisors and parents understand study options and careers prospects in Medicine and Healthcare.

Swansea University academics and current medicine and healthcare students will hold virtual talks featuring options to study Medicine, Midwifery, Nursing, Healthcare Science, Paramedic Science, Physician Associate Studies and Pharmacy.

Professor Keith Lloyd, Head of Swansea University Medical School, said: “Interest in clinical and healthcare jobs has soared since the pandemic, a degree in medicine or a healthcare-related degree is a route into a lifelong career in where you can make a real difference to somebody’s life every single day.

“We have a huge range of clinical and healthcare degrees available at Swansea University across the Medical School and College of Human and Health Sciences and we hope this online series will help not only applicants understand their options, but also inform teachers, careers advisors and parents to help students make the right choices.”
