The two main schemes available for Swansea University employees are the Universities Superannuation Scheme (USS) and the National Employment Savings Trust (NEST).

The University also administers the Swansea University Pension Scheme (SUPS) for existing employees and the NHS Pension Scheme for a limited number of eligible employees.
