This workshop is suitable for leaders with people management responsibilities
This workshop forms part of the Professional Leadership Framework at Swansea and has been designed to complement and build on the ‘Leading for Change’ programme. It is led by Gwyn Thomas, a professional coach, trainer and leadership mentor with significant senior and executive level leadership experience specialising in the field of personal and organisational leadership development. Feedback is information that helps people learn the effectiveness and impact of their behaviour. Effective feedback gives clarity, raises awareness, reinforces the ‘right’ behaviours and helps people to understand what change is desired for further success. In this way feedback is one of the most powerful transformational leadership tools available to help shape another person’s behaviour and performance.
This theory to practice short workshop will enable you to achieve these benefits through being better able to use effective feedback to enhance your leadership skills and practice and to enable others.
- By the end of this workshop delegates will be better able to
- Understand the concept of feedback
- Identify how to ask for and give feedback
- Practice giving and receiving feedback
- Evaluate how feedback is useful in developing self and teams
- Apply feedback skills to their own leadership practice
‘Overall – an excellent course.’
