About

Jennifer finished her PhD at Swansea University in 2020 and stayed in the position of a tutor in the Department of Psychology.

Her thesis investigated strategies to manage intake of tempting foods which people use in their day-to-day life. She graduated her BSc and MSc in Nutritional Science from the Munich University of Technology, Germany.

Since 2019, she is an Associate Fellow of the HEA.

She is part of the SNAC (Swansea Nutrition, Appetite and Cognition; https://snacswansea.wordpress.com/) group as well as the leading organiser of university wide writing group PAWS (Peer All-Staff Writing Support; https://pawspeer.wordpress.com/).

Her interests range from eating behaviour, influence of personality and eating behaviour traits on intake, snack intake, temptation to open science.

Career Highlights

Teaching Interests

Jennifer teaches quantitative as well as qualitative research methods at undergraduate and postgraduate level. Additionally, she gives courses to introduce students to SPSS and supports lectures and seminars related to eating and nutrition.
