Sue Croft is a Lecturer in Osteopathy and module leader for Year 1 Anatomy & Physiology and year 2 Biomechanics. Dissertation supervisor and Clinical Mentor

Fellow of HEA, she has degrees in Osteopathy, Pediatric Osteopathy and Industrial Design.

A English Channel swimmer and involved with Swim Wales organisation, working to develop the range of Open Water events in the whole of Wales. This has resulted in the first ever series of Welsh swims that lead into the FINA International series which then leads to Olympic qualification.

SHF100 Anatomy and Physiology 2

This module aims to provide an understanding of the structure and function of the key systems which is a core requirement of osteopathic medicine. This module builds upon knowledge introduced in SHF109 Anatomy and Physiology 1, and develops the understanding of the structure and functions of the key systems of the body. This knowledge will underpin the pathophysiology and therapeutics covered in Year 2.
SHF106 Osteopathic Skills 2

This module further develops the concepts of osteopathic practice with regards to clinical decision making, patient management and key osteopathic clinical skills. In conjunction with SHF105 Osteopathic Skills 1, it provides the foundation skills for all subsequent osteopathic skills modules in the programme.
SHF110 Introduction to Osteopathic Concepts and Principles

This module provides an introduction to the key ideas relating to osteopathy and osteopathic practice and the development of those ideas subsequent to the origin of the profession during the latter half of the 19th century. It will provide an outline of the thoughts and changes in perspectives of the osteopathic profession in relation to patient care, diagnosis and management over the past century and how such thought would combine, overlap and differ within the prism of allopathic medicine. The module will provide a foundation for student understanding of the development and implementation of osteopathic practice that can be enhanced during their studies on the M.Ost Osteopathy programme.
