About

I qualified as a cardiac physiologist in 2012. Following gaining experience in all areas of cardiac physiology I specialised in echocardiography and later transitioned into the field of education in 2017. I joined Swansea University as a senior lecturer within the Cardiac Physiology team in 2017. In 2018 I obtained my PGCE and achieved fellowship of the HEA. I am also the admissions tutor for the Cardiac Physiology programme.  I maintain a clinical role within the Health and Wellbeing Academy at Swansea University, running weekly echocardiography clinics, this allows additional opportunities for students whilst maintaining my clinical skills in my area of expertise.
