Over 40 years taught a variety of courses/ modules, sometimes solo, sometimes jointly, sometimes as one of a team.

No longer teaching since retirement.

Nearly 50 years research in Greece, most of it focussed on the islanders and migrants of the island of Anafi (Cyclades, Greece), and the changes since first fieldwork in 1966, resulting from electrification, improved communications, tourism.
