Carla Baute is currently a Ph.D. candidate in History at University of Campinas (Unicamp), she also has a M.A and a B.A in History. Her research interests are: Intellectual History, Materialist Cultural Criticism, Marxism, Raymond Williams, Latin American Intellectual History. Main publications: O materialismo cultural de Raymond Williams a partir da história intelectual: caminhos e possibilidades (2019), Debate Maurice Dobb e Paul Sweezy (2018), Materialism de Terry Eagleton (2018) and Alain Guerreau e a Begriffsgeschichte: um horizonte teórico? (2014).

Alexandro Henrique Paixão

Department of Social Sciences in Education/Faculty of Education - Unicamp (Universidade Estadual de Campinas/Brazil); Affiliated Member of the Brazilian Psychoanalytical Society of São Paulo (SBPSP/Brazil). Psychoanalyst, Professor and Researcher of Sociology and Psychoanalysis, with emphasis on the studies of Raymond Williams and Donald Winnicott and the existential and psychic survivals of British society after World War II.

I studied Social Sciences as an undergraduate at Universidade de São Paulo, where I also completed my master's degree (2015) and PhD (2021) in Sociology. During my graduate studies I was awarded two fellowships (2014-2015/ 2018-2019) to research at the Raymond Williams Collection, deposited at the Richard Burton Archives, Swansea University. Author of "Pierre Bourdieu and Raymond Williams: correspondence, meeting and crossed references" (with Luiz Carlos Jackson).

Ana Lúcia Teixeira

Ana Lúcia Teixeira holds a PhD in sociology of culture from the University of São Paulo, Brazil. She is an associated professor of Sociology at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), and Vice-President of the Research Committee 37 (Sociology of Arts) of the International Sociological Association (ISA). She has published Alvaro de Campos, ele mesmo: o sujeito literário na semiperiferia da cena moderna, “Franz Kafka, Fernando Pessoa e Mário de Andrade: o alcance das pequenas literaturas. Sociologias”; “A pena conservadora de Fernando Pessoa: breve incursão nos caminhos autoritários que levam Portugal ao seu Destino”, “A letra e o mito contribuições de Pau Brasil para a consagração bandeirante nos anos de 1920”, among other works. She also edited the thematic issue Literatura e conhecimento Sociológico e co-edited with Fabiana Jardim, Maria Helena Oliva-Augusto and Osvaldo Javier Lopez-Ruiz Max Weber e Michel Foucault: paralelas e intersecções.

Anderson Ricardo Trevisan

Anderson Ricardo Trevisan is a professor of the Department of Social Sciences in Education in the School of Education of Unicamp (Universidade Estadual de Campinas/Brazil) and a researcher at the Group for Studies and Research in Education and Sociocultural Differentiation (Grupo de Estudos e Pesquisas em Educação e Diferenciação Sociocultural) (GEPEDISC) and at the Audiovisual Studies Laboratory (Laboratório de Estudos Audiovisuais) (OLHO/"EYE"). He coordinates, at School of Education of Unicamp, the Laboratory of Investigations in Sociology of Art, (Laboratório de Investigação em Sociologia da Arte) (LAISA). His research subjects are about images, education and sociology, with emphasis in paintings, photographs and films. He is the author of the book: “A redescoberta de Debret no Brasil Modernista” and articles about art and society.
