Collaborative R&D Funding Support Event

Accessing Horizon Europe and other Funding Opportunities - FREE Networking day, Wednesday 14th September 2022

Organised by Swansea University’s Research and Innovation Services and supported by SCoRE Cymru this free networking session is open to anyone who is interested in developing collaborative R&D projects to support growth and development, primarily in the private, public, third and academic sectors.

The focus will be funding opportunities from UK and EU sources, in particular Horizon Europe Cluster 6 (Food, Bioeconomy, Natural Resources, Agriculture, and environment) and related calls around plant health, resilient infrastructure and low risk pesticides. The event will also offer an opportunity for Welsh industry and academia to network with international partners.

11.20	Horizon Europe in detail Horizon Europe – this detailed session will be delivered by Yvonne Vermonden, a senior consultant at Nehem B.V (part of the PNO group) who is responsible for supporting universities in developing applied science research and education projects. Yvonne will take participants through the whole funding process, covering the role of project partners, the added value of the project, project planning and EU requirements, and development of the project idea. 11.50	Break & Networking Networking opportunities will be facilitated by Swansea University LINC - a collaborative network that enables private, public and third sector organisations to connect with each other and access resources and expertise to support organisational growth.
