Ben's project (joint funded by Swansea University and Marine Harvest Scotland) investigates the sustainable use of lumpfish (Cyclopterus lumpus) as a method of controlling lice populations on salmon farms. By better understanding the unique behaviour and physiology of the lumpfish, Ben hopes to identify improved methods for efficiently utilising the species within aquaculture.
