Impact of freshwater invasive species

Matteo Rolla

Matteo is looking at the impact and the management of freshwater invasive species, such as the zebra mussel (Dreissena polymorpha) and killer shrimp (Dikerogammarus spp.) as part of the Aquainvad-ED project, funded through the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship Programme. These invasive species are well known for the ecological and economical damages they are able to cause and the aim is to further investigate their impacts and to propose new control methods.
