Higher Education Certificate in Digital Media
Higher Education Certificate in Digital Media programme is offered on a part-time basis over two academic years, where students will study 120 credits at Level 4. This course offers students to opportunity to gain skills in a variety of multi-media tools and techniques.
It provides comprehensive training with a strong practical element that encourages students to actively participate in their learning.
Attendance is one day a week 9:30am - 1:30pm and will be offered in Swansea, Brynaman and Neath Port Talbot areas, subject to minimum numbers.

Creative Image Editing (20 credits)
Intro to Graphics and Illustration (20 credits)
Introduction to Podcasting (10 credits)
Planning and Creation of Video (20 credits)
Introduction to Human Computer Interaction (10 credits)
Creating and Managing a CMS Website (20 credits)
Applicants for the HE Certificate in Digital Media are required to have an IT qualification equivalent to the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL) or be able to demonstrate a good level of IT knowledge to be able to study at this level. They must be capable of file management and have some experience of working with images.
Students will need to complete a DACE application form and will be interviewed by appropriate DACE staff to assess their existing IT skills and commitment to the programme.
£1,500 per year. The closing date for applications is 1st September 2018. However we encourage applicants to apply as soon as possible to secure a place on the course.
Tuition Fees and costs
