A message from Dr Carol Bell - Development Board Chair
2020 will mark 100 years of inspiration and innovation at Swansea University as we celebrate the University’s centenary. We would like to involve all of our alumni in ambitious plans to build on the success of the last one hundred years.
Since the University was established in 1920 with 89 students, it has grown into a multi-disciplinary, research intensive institution occupying two campuses. From revolutionary researchers to visionary leaders, the excellence of Swansea University’s current students, alumni and staff will continue to make valuable contributions towards achieving healthier, more sustainable and prosperous outcomes globally.
Our community encompasses the brightest students who are making an extensive economic, social and health impact in Wales and beyond. In an uncertain and globalised world, the need for Swansea University to continue to transform lives and futures by providing an outstanding education and facilitating world-class research is more important than ever.
Each donation from you will support our mission to deliver another 100 years of inspiration and innovation. A legacy gift would help us to continue to deliver an outstanding student experience and ensure that we will always be a home for the original thinkers of the future.
Dr Carol Bell, Chair of Swansea University Development Board
