What happens next?    


Compliments will be forwarded to the Director of Academic Services, Head of Section and to relevant members of staff.  They will be used internally to help us improve our services to you, which may include other areas of our work.


Your suggestions and comments will be considered by the Head of Section concerned.  Where you have indicated that you wish to receive a response to your suggestion, this shall normally be conveyed to you within 10 working days.


Complaints will be forwarded to the relevant Head of Section who may delegate the consideration of the complaint to another designated member of staff.  We will investigate and respond to your complaint in accordance with Stage 1 of the University's Complaints Procedure. We will aim to respond to your complaint within 10 working days or will otherwise advise you of an alternative timetable for investigation and resolution.

If you are unhappy with the response you receive from us, we will advise you how you may pursue your complaint further under Stage 2 of the University’s Complaints Procedure.


Please note that all of your comments are treated with strict confidentiality within Academic Services and this will not be compromised by any of the above commitments.  A summary of comments received will be anonymised and presented annually to the University’s Student Affairs Committee.
