6. Students Enrolled on a Master of Research (MRes) Programme

6.1

Students enrolled on an MRes undertaking a taught element of the programme will be subject to the requirements of the Student Attendance Monitoring Policy for Taught Students in regards to the frequency of monitoring (on a fortnightly basis).

6.2

Students enrolled on an MRes undertaking a taught element of the programme will be subject to the requirements of the Student Attendance Monitoring Policy for Taught Students in regards to the escalation process, with the exception that the Programme Coordinator will assume the responsibilities of the Supervisor for the taught element of the programme.

6.3

When students enrolled on an MRes move to the research element of the programme, they will be subject to the attendance monitoring requirements of the Student Attendance Monitoring Policy for Research Students entirely and will be then monitored on a four weekly basis. The Supervisor will then assume responsibilities in regards to recording attendance and the escalation process.
