Are you considering studying through the medium of Welsh?

The Academi Hywel Teifi Welsh-medium Scholarships and Bursaries scheme is a scheme that is funded annually by the Welsh Language Strategy Committee budget and is administered by the Academi. The scheme is open to students who have already chosen to come to Swansea University who are considering or studying through the medium of Welsh where there is an opportunity, rather than through English.

There has been a significant increase in the number of applications received over the last two years, setting a high standard for the competition. This year, the College of Engineering was awarded bursaries for the first time together with courses such as Biochemistry and Genetics, following recent Welsh medium appointments funded by the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol.
