Please report any of this information to Swansea University Security Control who are open 24/7 on 01792 604271 or email email@example.com
What is the procedure for the University to communicate to a campus partner organisation if a staff member, student or campus partner has been diagnosed with COVID-19?
If this were to happen we will contact you immediately with appropriate details
The University will contact any affected organisations with information on building closures and the impact.
Please note that the majority of our buildings are now closed. Exceptions are those delivering business critical services, or engaged in work that is helping the effort against coronavirus, e.g. research. Please see the University and General Q&As for more detail.
The majority of our buildings, including labs, will be completely closed, and all staff who can are working from home.
Exceptions are those people delivering business critical services, or who are engaged in work that is helping the effort against coronavirus (e.g. research, the production of hand sanitisers).
All travel and access must be appropriately authorised via Heads of College or Directors of Professional Services. This will serve as proof should you be challenged about the necessity of your journey.
If you, as a key worker, are required to travel to and access the University, please complete the attached form Swansea University Staff Travel and Entry Authorisation and have it authorised by emailing it, as appropriate, to:
- Your Head of College
- Your Director of Professional Services
- Stuart Henson for Contractors
- Mark Owen for Tenants
Approvers will return the form to you and also copy our security supervisors firstname.lastname@example.org to ensure the log of people on site is up to date, should the police contact them.
The University Notice was issued on 27 March (held on the staff intranet)
