Statistics show that our graduates succeed in obtaining high quality professional employment within months of graduating.
We know from experience that you should engage with potential employers throughout your time studying with us and our contacts within the industry across Wales and Britain mean that you have the opportunity to meet and discuss your future with some of the UK's leading public relations producers, directors and practitioners.
You'll also come face to face with potential employers in several modules within the Department of Media and Public Relations. This could be in delivering a communications strategy in a competitive pitch to a company director or as you proceed to conduct interviews whilst creating market research or whilst visiting some of Wales’ busiest translation units.
In addition, we offer a work experience module (Module No AHT200). On this module you will spend 10 days work experience with an organisation, charity, business or government organisation in Wales. Ideally you will attend the placement for a day a week throughout the term in order to develop employability skills and a comprehensive understanding of the world of work.
BBC, S4C, Welsh Government, National Assembly Wales, Natural Resources Wales, Welsh for Adults, Mynydd Bach Translation Unit, Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol, Big Lottery Fund and Carmarthenshire County Council are among the institutions and companies that employ our graduates.
