Assessment

Most language modules and some ‘content’ modules are taught through the medium of French. Language classes are taught in small groups, which encourages a friendly and supportive atmosphere. Content modules are taught as interactive lectures, in which student participation is actively encouraged. At all levels, use is made of video and Internet materials for teaching, and students can take advantage of excellent self-study facilities in the Language Laboratories and computer labs. We offer a significant proportion of language and content modules at all levels through the medium of Welsh. Cysylltwch â’r darlithydd cyfrwng Cymraeg Dr Kathryn Jones (gweler isod) am fwy o wybodaeth. Assessment is carried out by means of a combination of work submitted in the course of a module and an examination at its end.
