Engineering is a dynamic discipline which changes rapidly. The School of Engineering is, therefore, constantly reviewing its undergraduate provision, introducing new modules and new degree schemes designed to reflect the needs of modern industry. The close relationship between the School and a wide range of small, medium and large multinational companies ensures that the course provision is relevant and up to date.
BEng: ABB-BBB at A level (including Mathematics and a Physical Science), or 32 at IB (including at least 4 at HL Mathematics and a Physical Science). Students studying for BTEC qualifications will also require A level Mathematics at B grade for level 1 entry.
MEng: AAA -AAB at A level (including Mathematics and a Physical Science), or 34 at IB (including at least 5 at HL Mathematics and a Physical Science).
If you do not have these qualifications, you can consider applying for the Integrated Foundation Year scheme, H101.
Students with industrial experience and qualifications will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

If you are applying for Level Two (second year) entry, in order to be considered, you will need to have already covered the topics offered in Swansea at Level One in a certified qualification, with a high overall score.
