Academic Services is responsible for managing a number of strategic functions within the central administration, including Examinations, Postgraduate Research, Quality, Student Liaison, Taught Programmes, and Welsh Language.

Estates & Facilities Management is responsible for providing and maintaining buildings, services, and internal and external environments. It also manages portering, security, grounds maintenance and cleaning services, and the Safety Office.

The Professional Services staff in the Vice-Chancellor’s Office are responsible for: executive, administrative and PA support for the Vice-Chancellor, Registrar & Chief Operating Officer and the Pro-Vice-Chancellors; compliance duties associated with Data Protection, Freedom of Information, immigration regulations and the Welsh Language; supporting the Council, the Senate, the Court, a range of policy and management committees and the University’s committee infrastructure; the provision of legal services; records storage services.

Information Services and Systems delivers research, learning, employability, cultural and administrative services to our large and diverse University community. Our staff apply their professional knowledge, skills and creativity to deliver university-wide IT Services, Libraries and Culture and Arts services and provision, as well as two university Academies: the Swansea Academy of Learning and Teaching (SALT), and the Swansea Academy of Employability (SEA).
