One of Swansea University’s strategic aims for the next five years is to foster a bilingual culture within the University and to promote opportunities for staff and students to use and improve their Welsh language skills.

Our site promotes news and information about Welsh language activites on the campus and beyond, services available through the medium of Welsh. Practical help with using and understanding written and spoken Welsh and translation.  You can also find information about learning Welsh and for prospective students, details of Welsh medium courses and modules.

A new and exciting development on Singleton campus is Academi Hywel Teifi which has been established as a powerhouse and centre of excellence for the study and learning of Welsh.
