Student Exchange

Swansea University has reciprocal student exchange agreements with a number of its Texas partner universities which allows students to undertake study abroad for a year or semester for no additional tuition fee.

 Student exchange programmes are available with the following Texas partner universities:

Short Programmes

Swansea University has developed a number of short visit programmes with Texas partners which allow students and accompanying faculty to undertake one to six week visits between Swansea and Texas. This includes:

  • Social Work: Inbound and outbound visits in conjunction with the University of Houston
  • Nursing: Inbound and outbound visits in conjunction with the University of Houston
  • Applied Medical Sciences: 6 week summer programme at Baylor College of Medicine for Swansea students

Feedback from our students who received Erasmus+ funding to participate in student exchange to Texas shows that:
