A number of awards will also be available for students from selected Texas partner universities coming to Swansea in 2017/18.
Payment of Grants
- Recipients will receive 80% of their grant after they have enrolled at Swansea University and signed the relevant documentation which will be provided at orientation.
- The remaining 20% of the grant will be paid at the end of the study abroad period following the completion, by the recipient, of final documentation and feedback.
Recipients will be required to open a UK bank account and the grant will be paid by Swansea University into that account.
Incoming exchange students may open a bank account with their preferred UK bank. There are two banks with branches at the University: Lloyds and Santander. Santander will allow students who are studying at Swansea University for just one semester to open an account, and it has branches on both the Singleton and Bay campus.
