Research Faculty Office

Situated in the Academic Registry, the Research Faculty provides support and training for all postgraduate students.

The staff of the Research Faculty Office are responsible for supporting the Postgraduate Research Faculty, departments and students on administrative issues relating to postgraduate student affairs. These range from offering advice on regulatory issues to the issuing of certificates required when submitting theses/dissertations.

Staff of the Research Faculty Office can advise students and staff on issues relating to taught postgraduate provision and also research degree candidatures. An academic handbook is produced on an annual basis, which is issued to all postgraduate students. Details of the postgraduate studentships available to students, can be obtained from this website.

The Research Faculty Office oversees maintenance of the on-line reporting system, production of information  for various committees and  processing applications for extension to candidatures.

It is the staff of the Research Faculty Office, working in conjunction with the Dean and Sub-Deans, who actively ensure that the University's regulations and procedures are adhered to by departments.
