Academic study; it can be stressful, enlightening, frustrating but ultimately it is rewarding and your reason for being at University. There is always a period of adjustment for new students, check out our Study Guide for tips on how to get the most out of your time.
The sheer variety of courses taught at Swansea means that there are many different approaches to teaching and assessment, tailored to meet the objectives and aims of the course. Students should always ask their school or department in the first instance any questions about the course.
There are many tools and facilities to help students study; online resources from the Library and Information Service include Blackboard and Voyager, the online library search facility. We also have a list of academic support available to students.
