  • PH-M04 Advanced Particle Physics

    The first part of course examines the Dirac equation in relativistic quantum mechanics and its use in the context of quantum field theory. The second part of the course develops in some details the physics of two recent advances in particle physics (the discovery of neutrino oscillations and of the Higgs particle) and their importance in the context of the Standard Model of particle physics.
