Teaching

  • MA-312 Higher Algebra

This course approaches the theory of groups, rings and modules as abstract algebraic objects. The course also introduces categories as a language and unifying force in modern mathematics.

  • MA-325 Applied Algebra: Coding Theory

This module is an introduction to modern algebraic coding theory.

  • MA-M25 Applied Algebra: Coding Theory

This module is an introduction to modern algebraic coding theory.

  • MA-R01 Year in Industry or Abroad

Students are required to take appropriate work or select appropriate maths modules. The modules chosen are detailed within a Learning Agreement which must be approved by the Study Abroad Co-ordinator at Swansea University before the student leaves Swansea.
