Based in The School of Law, Bangor University covering North and Mid Wales. Joined the Wales Observatory on the Human Rights of Children in October 2014 after working for Funky Dragon-The Children and Young People’s Assembly for Wales from 2007. Experienced participative research specialist working with children and young people between the ages of 7-25, helping to increase their involvement in and influence on decisions that affect their lives. Co creator of Children As Researchers (Funky Dragon, 2009) and am currently applying and developing the methodology in Lleisiau Bach Little Voices’ project, Little Voices Shouting Out (LVSO).

LVSO will produce a world first report from children aged 7 – 10 in Wales to the UN Committee on the Rights of the Child as part of the UK Reporting process. Beyond that, LVSO will help embed child and young person-led research in the Observatory’s Getting Real About Rights project.
