Bryn Willcock gained his doctorate from the University of Swansea on the subject of the Eighteenth Century statesman Edmund Burke. He has lectured at both Swansea University and the University of Wales, Lampeter.  His main teaching and research interests focus upon US foreign policy and Terrorism although he has also taught several courses on American/European relations as well as on American history and culture. He is also the chair of the War and Society Staff/Student committee.
