The programme provides a fully structured and integrated training programme allowing students to both excel in the pool and the classroom. With strong links with Swim Wales, British Swimming and Swim Swansea students have the opportunity to access world-class facilities, coaches, Sports and Exercise scientists, physiotherapy, and strength and conditioning - all under one roof.

The programme is based solely at the Wales National Pool.

International representation

Swansea University has had a very successful period in recent years mainly due to the Inception of the Swansea Performance Centre which encompasses Swansea ITC, Swim Wales & Swansea University & British Disiability Swimming. Since 2008 Swansea Performance Centre has had swimmers selected to numerous international teams including:
