Swansea University colleagues, Associate Professor Terry Filer (School of Management) and Dr Marc Holmes (College of Engineering), were recently awarded one of four Best Paper titles at the 4th International Conference on Theory and Practice (ICTP) in February 2018. Their research, which looks into the use of virtual reality (VR) to increase student engagement and employability in teaching taxation was presented by Terry Filer at the two-day conference, securing Best Paper in Education.

Held in Adelaide Australia, the conference covered topics from four streams - Business, Education, Social Sciences and ICT - under the main theme ‘Lighting the Future’, and saw internationally recognised scholars presenting their research and best practice on these areas.
