Male stickleback fish exhibit 'bolder' behaviour traits than females

Bold SticklebacksThe Western Mail (pg 12), Wales Online, Planet Earth Online, Wired.co.uk and Phys.Org (U.S.) report on research by Dr Andrew King published in the Plos ONE journal which suggests that male stickleback fish are bolder and more willing to take risks than females.

The research, led by Dr Andrew King, Department of Biosciences, Swansea University, has revealed that there are big differences in behaviour between male and female fish in an experiment to test risk taking in animals.
