The College of Science runs a very successful Swansea Science Café with the aid of EPSRC funding.

Marc Abrahams Ig Noble PrizesThe cafés are normally held in the Dylan Thomas Centre in Swansea, with an average of over 100 in the audience.  A notable recent success has been Professor Lyn Evans’s talk on the Large Hadron Collider.  At the end of March,  Mark Abrahams, the man behind the Ig Nobel Prizes, is expected to give a fantastic, amusing and informative talk –
