Forty second-year Geography students and four staff had a thrilling time on the second-year field course to Vancouver and SW British Columbia in March and early April. Half the students focussed on aspects of human geography and half on physical geography, both in the city area and the surrounding rural hinterland. Highlights of the course included the journey through the Coast Mountains to the Fraser Valley, a morning spent with a First Nations group, and a visit to a recently established winery.
