We try to make placements that will compliment your chosen major.
Placements will be made in one of three local papers. South Wales Evening Post is the local Swansea & South Wales paper. Interns are invited to do a number of jobs within the organization wherever their interest may lie. Paper is based in offices in the Marina. Llanelli Star is a sister paper of the Evening Post it serves the town of Llanelli and surrounding Camarthenshire. The paper is based in Llanelli (20 mins from Swansea by car, but there also services by bus and train) so you must alow time and money for travel. Carmarthen Journal is another sister paper which serves the more rural areas of West Wales.
This is Swansea University's student paper. The offices are on campus and its agreat way to integrate with fellow students.
South Wales papers, however the offices are in Cardiff and the commute from Swansea takes at least an hour.
Local lifestyle magazine covering events and stories of interest from the local community.
