Pre-Sessional Course in Swansea
This popular course will give you a flavour of the British and Welsh culture and is a fun and enlightening way to start your visit to the UK.

This popular programme has been successfully running for many years. Students enroll on the Swansea University Module AMX-315 : British Culture and Politics Since 1945 which is worth 10 credits (3 US credits).
In Swansea this course covers modern British culture society a politics since the end of the Second World War and is taught with an emphasis on literature and film. It is taught over a two week period before the start of the semester at Swansea and includes excursions to places of historical and cultural interest in Wales and the England.
- Housing: Students attending the Fall session will stay on campus for the duration of the course and will then move to their pre-arranged term time accommodation at the end of the session. Students attending the Spring session move directly into their term-time accommodation.
- Costs: The Swansea Experience includes tuition (3 credits/10 Swansea credit points), housing, cultural events and field trips. Participants cover their own costs for: airfare, insurance, meals, personal expenses (telephone, social life, extra travel), books and supplies.
