APPLICATION, PROCEDURE & COSTS
Information on the Application Procedure and Cost of the Study Abroad Programme at Swansea.
Procedure:
If you would like to apply to study abroad at Swansea, please print and complete the Admission and Accommodation form and send to us with the following:
- a current official transcript
- two academic letters of recommendation
- an essay of approximately 200 words stating why you wish to study abroad at Swansea
- information on how you plan to support yourself financially (loans, financial aid, personal savings)
The Admission form asks you to select modules from Swansea's Module Catalogue. This is NOT a pre-registration process. If there are modules you must take, please make it clear on the form.
Deadline for applications:
- - Academic Year or Fall Semester due by 30th April
- - Spring semester due by 30th September
Failure to submit forms by the required date will jeopardise your chance to obtain University housing!

Successful applicants will be sent an Arrival Packet which contains an official letter of acceptance and a copy of the with advice on how to reach Swansea from London, suggestions as to what clothing to bring with you, information on banking facilities, an overview of academic issues, and a host of other matters.
Cost:
The cost of the programme varies depending on wether you are an exchange or direct enrolment student or if you wish to take either of the pre-sessional courses. For further details please contact your home University coordinator or Angela Jones (a.jones@swansea.ac.uk ) in Swansea.
