"When Harriet and Gwyn buy their dream gite in the Languedoc, everything goes wrong. But this is Moliere country, where modern solutions can be found in the spirit of the past."

David Britton - Moliere play on radio‌D. J. Britton's radio play, Moliere Imaginaire is to be re-broadcast on BBC Radio 4 Extra on Friday 17 March 2017 at 11.15 am and 9.15 pm (and will then be available for the following month on i-Player).

The writer said of the play:  'It's a modern comedy drama I wrote a few years ago with sound recorded near Pezenas in the Languedoc, where M.Poquelin (aka Moliere) observed the world from the town's corner barber-shop -- which is still there.  It features the late great Bill Wallis of Beyond the Fringe, Blackadder and much more as Poquelin himself, along with a wonderful cast including Swansea's Melanie Walters.'
