Swansea Professor Elected Fellow of the RSA and the UK National Algerian Centre

Professor Nicola Cooper becomes Fellow of RSA, whose mission is to create the conditions for the enlightened thinking and collaborative action needed to address today's most pressing social challenges,by acting as a global hub, enabling millions of people to access the most creative ideas, nurturing networks of innovators, and through researching, testing and sharing practical interventions.


Professor Nicola Cooper, Department of Political and Cultural Studies, has recently been elected a Fellow of the RSA and the UK National Algerian Centre. 

 

The RSA was founded in 1754 for the encouragement of Arts, Manufacturers and Commerce.  Today it operates on a local, national, regional and international scale to turn optimistic thinking into positive action.  The RSA comprises of a unique combination of committed people and diverse ways of thinking with the aim of finding innovative practical solutions to pressing social problems.

 

The UK National Algerian Centre  was developed out of a desire to share.  Since its inception, it has worked hard to develop activities around the Algerian Culture.
