Conference: The 51st Annual Conference for the Society of French Studies

Swansea University, 5-7 July 2010

The Society for French Studies is the oldest and leading French Society in the United Kingdom and Ireland. It exists to promote research in French studies. The Department of Modern Languages at Swansea is delighted to welcome the Society to Swansea for its 51st annual conference. Plenary speakers will include: Emma Wilson (University of Cambridge), John Lyons (University of Virginia), Agnès Spiquel (Université de Valenciennes) and Stanley Péan (writer). Speakers at the conference will address literary, cinematic, linguistic, historical and socio-political topics and any one interested in attending should contact Kate Griffiths (k.s.griffiths@swansea.ac.uk).
