Swansea University National Assembly Briefing


This Briefing will take place on Tuesday 16th March and will be presented by Professor Jack Godwin, Visiting Fulbright Scholar to Swansea University's Department of Political and Cultural Studies.

Professor Godwin, from California State University, Sacramento, will be talking on the challenges posed by the global economic crisis, with particular reference to the challenges for multi-level governance.  Professor Godwin is a political scientist with extensive experience in business and government spanning more than two decades and dozens of countries.  His most recent major publication is Clintonomics: How Bill Clinton Reengineered the Reagan Revolution, (2009).

The briefing will be chaired by Dr David Bewley-Taylor also of the Department of Political and Cultural Studies, Swansea University.

The Swansea University briefing is a new initiative.  It is hosted by Andrew Davies, AM for Swansea West and organised by Dr Jonathan Bradbury on behalf of the Research Institute of Arts and Humanities (RIAH) and Swansea University.
