The Feminist and Women's Studies Association have a new treasurer.
Helen Snaith, currently studying for her PhD in the Department of English Language and Literature at Swansea University, has recently been appointed as the new FWSA (Feminist and Women's Studies Association) Treasurer.
The organisation supports events, conferences, provides blog posts and up-to date research, as well as acting as a hub for feminist engagement. Her role of treasurer will primarily revolve around recording and making payments, preparing accounts, dealing with subscriptions, as well as producing reports for the executive committee meetings and the Annual General Meeting.
Helen starts the role immediately, but will be supported by the current Treasurer until June 2014.
