Nicola Powell, Dragon Innovation Partnership Team facilitated a Strategic Insight Programme (SIP) with  Jeff Francis, Director of Beta Omega Ltd, which enabled him to spend  time with key academics and professional staff at Swansea Metropolitan: University of Wales Trinity St David.

As a result of this experience,  a number of masters students through the Access to Masters Programme were recruited to support Beta Omega Ltd in the development of a new and innovative music app.

Jeff stated of the interaction with the University

“Without the introductions and subsequent support of the Dragon Innovation Partnership team I would not have discovered the invaluable expertise and resources available to me through working with the University. I will continue to work closely with academics and students and graduates through the development of my project”

Through these interactions, Beta Omega Ltd has been able to carry out detailed Investigation of trends and developments in the mobile device and mobile app space and in now in the process of launching a new and innovative music app.
