In accordance with the University’s Policy on Attendance all full time students sponsored by Swansea University on a Tier 4 (General) Student visa are required to re-register with the University twice during the Academic Year.
The University monitors the attendance of students for whom it acts as a sponsor (i.e Tier 4 students). The registration of your monthly attendance at the Library has now ceased and from September the procedures will change and the University will ask you to re-register TWICE per year, by attending a Central Re-Registration (at Library and Information Services).
At each re-registration you will be required to produce your Student ID Card and confirm the following:
For further details of when you are required to re-register your attendance at Library and Information Services, please see the Attendance Monitoring Calendar below.
N.B If you are pursuing a programme with English Language Training Services (ELTS) you will not be required to re-register in the main campus Library, your attendance will be monitored through the daily class registers.
You are expected to attend every lecture, seminar, tutorial, practical session or any other timetabled contact with your academic College. Your College will use these events to confirm your attendance at College level. For more information about this, please contact your College.
